Some photos from last weekend’s Corrib Beo, Heritage walk in association with Headfest 22 and St. Fursa’s Historical Society. The walk was part of a series of Corrib Community-hosted walks designed to showcase local heritage, foster stronger inter-community relations, and promote a more regional visibility of the Corrib-rich culture and heritage. The walk included a visit to the to the award-winning Headford Lace project, Ross Errilly Abbey (c1351) and Killursa Church (c. 620).
Previous trail walks have included Joyce Country, Tirellan in Galway and Collinamuck/Knockferry. Keep an eye out here for more walks and events during the summer
